Champion Bridge Company rebrands as Champion Steel Works
WILMINGTON, Ohio — After more than 150 years of operation under its founding name, one of the region’s oldest industrial staples is rebranding to better reflect its modern capabilities.
Champion Bridge Company announced this week that it is now doing business as Champion Steel Works.
While the company’s roots are firmly planted in bridge fabrication, leadership stated the new name is a more accurate representation of a portfolio that has expanded to include a wide range of structural and custom steel projects.
“The name Champion Steel Works better represents the full breadth of our work, our modernized processes, and our vision for the future,” the company said in a statement.
Despite the new identity, the company confirmed that its ownership,
operations remain unchanged. Noah Dell, president of Champion Steel Works, said the rebrand is a way to honor the company’s multigenerational history while looking toward the future.
“As a family-led company,
to us,” Dell said. “My father led this company before me, and the values he passed down — serve others, work hard, and build our community with integrity and gratitude — are still at the core of everything we do.”
The company has been a fixture in the local infrastructure landscape since the mid-19th century. Officials expressed gratitude to the community for the support that allowed the business to evolve from its specialized beginnings into a versatile steel fabricator.
“This name change honors where we started while clearly representing who we are today,” Dell said.
